How do I get started with Ground?

Once you’re onboarded, Ground syncs with your store and marketing platforms in minutes. From there, our team ensures your key journeys (like cart abandonment or welcome flows) are live, optimized, and monitored. You’ll be able to track performance directly from the Ground Dashboard.

Confirm Your Store Is Synced with Ground

Ground integrates directly with your e-commerce platform (like Shopify) during onboarding. There’s no need for ongoing maintenance or manual setup from your team — but if you want to confirm everything is working, here’s what to look for:

  1. Integration is typically handled by the Ground team

    • Ground connects directly to your store during onboarding.

    • This includes syncing product data, customer behavior, and abandonment events.

  2. Check with your Client Success Manager

    • If you’re unsure whether your store is fully synced, just reach out to your Ground Client Success Manager.

    • They can confirm the integration is complete and active on your behalf.

  3. You’ll know the sync is working if:

    • Your Ground dashboard is populating with product and customer journey data.

    • You might start seeing new revenue flowing in from Ground-powered flows (e.g. ReCartify) within 24–48 hours post setup.
