Why it matters
Without ReCartify, many brands lose visibility into users due to privacy updates (e.g. Apple ITP). Ground helps you retarget those users — even 7+ days later — and win back revenue that would otherwise be lost.
What it does
- Detects and identifies anonymous or known users who leave a session 
- Triggers the right flow (cart, checkout, or browse abandonment) 
- Uses predictive AI to personalize message timing and content 
- Works across email and SMS platforms like Klaviyo and Postscript 
How it works
ReCartify uses first-party data to track user behavior in real time. When a session ends without a conversion, Ground’s AI evaluates:
- Browsing behavior (e.g. time on page, viewed products) 
- Session context (e.g. device, location, depth in the funnel) 
- Purchase intent signals 
Based on these inputs, Ground triggers the most relevant recovery flow with optimized timing and personalized content — with zero manual effort required.

Review Your ReCartify Flows in Your ESP
ReCartify flows are created directly in your email/SMS platform (like Klaviyo or Postscript). These include:
- Abandoned Cart - Ground 
- Abandoned Checkout - Ground 
- Browse Abandonment - Ground 
To find and review them:
- Log into your platform (e.g. Klaviyo) 
- Go to Flows (or Automations or Journeys) 
- Search for flows with "Ground" in the name 
- Open each flow and confirm: - The logic (trigger + filters) is correct 
- Messages are branded and accurate 
- Status is set to Live or Active 
 

Monitor your ReCartify Performance
Once your ReCartify flows are live, you can track performance directly in your dashboard.
Steps:
- Go to app.joinground.com 
- Scroll down to find “Features” 
- Select ReCartify 

View key metrics:
- Revenue added by Ground 
- Breakdown by date 
- Revenue per Flow by Ground 

Common Issues & FAQs
| Where can I find the ReCartify flows? | ReCartify flows are created in your ESP account. Search for flows labeled with “- Ground” (e.g., “Cart Abandonment - Ground” or “Browse Abandonment – Ground”). If you can’t find them, contact your CSM to confirm setup. | 
| Can I edit the ReCartify flows myself? | We suggest to contact your Ground CSM for any flows update or adjustment. | 
| How do I know if the flows are live? | Inside your ESP, each flow should show a “Live” status. If you’re unsure, your CSM can double-check. | 
| Will ReCartify override my current ESP flows? | Not at all. Ground’s flows run in parallel to your existing flows. They’re designed to target incremental opportunities that your standard flows may miss. | 
| Are ReCartify emails being sent through my ESP? | Yes — Ground flows are deployed via your ESP (e.g. Klaviyo, Attentive, etc.) account. You’ll see sends, opens, and clicks tracked there, but performance is also visible in the Ground dashboard. | 
| What if Ground flows overlap with my existing ESP flows? | Ground’s flows are designed to run in parallel and do not interfere with your existing automations. We use distinct segmentation, filters, triggers and timing to avoid overlap. | 
| Do I need to update anything on my end to keep ReCartify running? | No — Ground is built for zero maintenance. All updates, logic changes, and optimizations are handled by our team. |
